Hi, we’re Little Sister.

Little Sister is a Puerto Rican café, restaurant & bakery turning out inspired breakfast pastries, brunch & lunch during the day, a multi-course tasting menu with wine pairings on Friday nights, and a lively wine tasting on Sunday evenings. At Little Sister, we want you to feel like you’re hanging out at a friend’s house eating delicious home cooking, always something new!

We are inspired by the tropical comfort foods we cherish from our childhood in Puerto Rico, flavors picked up in our travels along the way, and seasonal New England bounty.

things to note before you visit:

Reservations are highly encouraged for weekend brunch. Please book ahead as we get busy and walk-in seating is limited!
Weekend brunch service is dine-in only. If you would like takeout coffee & pastries on the weekends, please use our online store.
Friday night tasting menu is offered exclusively to our Friends of the House. Please sign up for our email list to learn more!
We are unable to host parties larger than 6. Interested in a buyout? Check our Private Events page!
Families with small children: We do not have high chairs and are unable to accommodate strollers inside the café.
No pets allowed inside. Service dogs are welcome.

We’re offering a five-course tasting menu inspired by the flavors of Puerto Rico, but done with our own flair and sense of taste. Sample unique takes on traditional foods that we grew up with, featuring fresh Rhode Island seafood, vegetables grown by our friends, desserts prepared by our skilled bakers and wines selected by the same folks cooking your food to be the perfect match. Our friends have described our cooking as “off the charts”, “mysterious”, “there’s nothing like this in Providence” — do you dare come try?
